UNITY
Unity was debuted on April 12, 2024 in Los Angeles, CA. The exhibit provided unique insight into the behind-the-scenes process, including Amin's original framed assemblage art, PATTERNSCRAPS. The exhibit will also pay homage to the history behind Amin's fabric shears, photographed by LEV. The shears were inherited to Amin by his neighbor, Leo. Leo made clothes during the Holocaust to avoid persecution. Amin uses these shears during the process, as a symbol against oppression and genocide.
An artistic partnership emerging from 2 visionary American designers; Amin, Palestinian ethnicity, & Lev Diamond, Jewish descent. "UNITY" aims to recognize the value of protecting human life, by using art as a catalyst for unfiltered conversation.

Born from this partnership is a hand-crafted denim set (jeans & jacket), steeped in ☮︎ symbolism. From Amin's signature COVERSTITCH EMBROIDERY, depicting olive leaves & trade routes, found on the traditional Kufieh (Palestinian scarf) - to the olive green-colored denim & pearl buttons, representing olive trees & doves, symbols of universal peace.
